Welcome to
Forte Apparel
We are a small student run business which operates at High Tech High North County as an elective class. We are partnered with Real World Scholars and EdCorps which promotes using business and a force for learning. While we try to follow screen printing trends to teach students about the business side of the class, our passion is on student design.
We offer our clients a wide range of services from custom shirt designs, athletic team uniforms, to small production runs. We offer the following services:
Vinyl: Heat transfer vinyl, also known as, iron-on vinyl, t-shirt vinyl or HTV, is a special type of vinyl that can adhere to fabric. This is different than adhesive vinyl sheets and rolls, that are sticky from the onset. The adhesive on the vinyl is activated with heat.Comes in a variety of colors and is typically used for small orders with customized individual designs.
Screen Printing: Screen printing is a printing technique where a mesh is used to transfer ink onto a shirt, except in areas made impermeable to the ink by a blocking stencil. ... One color is printed at a time, so several screens can be used to produce a multicolored image or design.
We use plastisol and water-based inks and are able to accomodate two color designs.
